BSO De Stek

BSO De Stek is located in the ‘De Oude Boomgaard’ community school at De Meet 1 in Nieuwe Niedorp. We welcome children aged 4 to 12 just a few steps away from their classrooms, making the transition from school to after-school care effortless. Our daily routine starts the moment school ends. Children are collected from their classrooms and offered a healthy snack and drink to recharge. They then choose from a variety of activities spread across our bright group rooms. The creative corner is always stocked with craft supplies for drawing, building or tinkering, while the reading nook invites quiet moments with a book and the games corner buzzes with board-game fun. Outside, a large green playground is the heart of our programme. Here children climb, build dens, play tag or kick a football. Whenever the weather allows, we move activities outdoors—think sports tournaments, nature walks and joint gardening projects. During holidays and study days we run themed programmes and often team up with other Kappio locations in the region, ensuring plenty of variety and friends to share the fun. Our experienced, enthusiastic staff give every child personal attention within Kappio’s pedagogical framework that balances safety, enjoyment and development. Parents can rely on free guidance when applying for childcare allowance through our service bureau. BSO De Stek is open after school until 18.15 and from 07.15 to 18.15 during school holidays and study days.
