Welcome to BSO De Stad, perhaps the best kept secret in the neighborhood! We are located in the monumental building of the Hannie Schaftschool, situated in the Rozenprieel area. This is the place where school-age children from 4 to 12 years feel completely at home. Our monumental building is fully furnished to our liking. We have our own kitchen where budding culinary talents can discover their first cooking skills. The gymnasium provides ample space to master ball techniques, and on our stage, your child can fully immerse themselves in role-playing - from Robin Hood to self-invented adventures. But it's also wonderful to just relax with a good book on our lounge sofa. We believe that children develop best when given the space to discover what they enjoy. That's why we offer a wide range of activities. From sports and movement to crafting and creative activities. We even have a vegetable garden where we plant potatoes together and grow other vegetables and herbs. We regularly make trips to the Haarlemmerhout, just to enjoy the wind through our hair and appreciate the nature around us. We are specifically intended for children of the Hannie Schaftschool, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. At BSO De Stad, everything revolves around having fun, discovering new things, and being together. We provide after-school care, before-school care, and holiday care. Our team of dedicated pedagogical staff is ready every day to make it a celebration together with the children.
