BSO de Springplank

BSO de Springplank is located inside R.K. Basisschool de Josefschool at Sint Janskerkstraat 10-12 in the centre of Culemborg. As part of Kinderopvang KaKa we provide before- and after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our close cooperation with the school allows children to walk straight into our group space after the last lesson. Our qualified staff collect the children at the end of the school day: infants are picked up from their classroom, while children from group 3 onwards make their own way to the BSO. Upon arrival every child receives a healthy snack and drink. We start the afternoon with a short group discussion on the home base, after which children can choose to play freely, relax or burn off energy outside. In bad weather we use the school gym. Each day we offer a varied activity programme that children can join on a voluntary basis. Themes, arts and crafts, sports and games, and nature experiences alternate throughout the week. We regularly collaborate with local sports clubs, the music school and other cultural providers in Culemborg. During holiday periods we combine our groups with BSO de Augustinus; our location then serves as the home base for all participating children. Parents can opt for 40-, 46- or 52-week contracts, and flexible care is also available. Prices are transparent and published in advance.
