BSO De Springplank

BSO De Springplank is part of Flow Kinderopvang and is located near the city park in Brunssum. We offer after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our location is close to primary schools De Opstap and De Trampoline, with whom we work closely. Children in groups 1 and 2 are brought to us by their teacher; from group 3 onwards, they come independently. At our BSO, children can do whatever they feel like. After school, we eat and drink together, and then each child chooses what they want to do. There is a cozy lounge area with TV and games for those who want to relax or read. We also offer daily activities such as sports, crafts, and nature-based learning. We regularly go on walks through the city park and explore what nature has to offer. We also visit Schutterspark with its playground and the Barefoot Park. We value child participation. Together with the children and our child representative, we create a monthly activity plan. Children can share what they’d like to do or where they’d like to go. We use the school gym and playground, and the nearby skatepark and football field are also accessible under supervision. Our pedagogical staff are there every day with care and guidance. Through our parent app, we keep parents updated on their child’s experiences. Together, we make every afternoon a great one!
