De Speelwijzer

Welcome to Partou After-School Care De Speelwijzer! We are located right in the heart of Rijnsburg village, inside primary school De Wegwijzer at Koningin Julianalaan 2A. Being part of this community school gives us access to a large playground, a sports hall, a computer room and a separate workshop space for creative activities. Our group feels like home; children decide for themselves whether to join a game, spend some time in the doll corner or ask a teacher to read aloud. As soon as the school bell rings our pedagogical staff are ready to pick the children up. We collect from De Schakel, De Wegwijzer, Julianaschool, Koningin Emmaschool, Koningin Wilhelminaschool and PC Oranje Nassau. For safety every child wears a high-visibility vest. Parents receive an instant message through our Partou app to let them know everything is fine. Every afternoon is different. We usually start with outdoor play on the playground or in the garden, then children choose what they want to do: crafting in the KidsClub, cooking, inventing a game or simply reading a book. We work in small, mixed-age groups so younger and older children learn from each other while keeping the atmosphere homely. During holidays and teacher-training days we offer full-day care. We head out even more and make full use of all the spaces in the community school. Parents receive photos and messages through the app so they can share in the adventures.
