About this care
AI
Welcome to BSO De Speelwereld, part of Partou childcare, located within St. Caecilia primary school at Schoolmeesterstraat 2a in Berkel-Enschot. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a modern building that has been in use since 2013. Together with the toddler care, daycare, and the school itself, we form an integral child centre (KC).
Our location features a large playground and a dedicated gym where movement specialists run daily sports and physical activity sessions tailored to the age and development of the children. We operate five fixed base groups: The Detectives, The Researchers, The Treasure Hunters, The Adventurers, and The Pioneers. These groups are horizontally structured by age, with separate care for children aged 4–7 and 7–12.
We pick up children daily from St. Caecilia primary school and work closely with the school. This includes agreements on joint celebrations, activities, and themes. Teachers and childcare staff regularly exchange information about the children’s development to ensure consistent and personalised guidance.
Our programme is broad and varied. We offer sports activities in our gym, creative workshops, nature and outdoor play, and regular excursions such as visits to the library, museum, or local park. All activities are communicated to parents in advance via the Partou parent app, which also allows you to request extra care or swap days.
Healthy nutrition is a priority. We follow the guidelines of the Netherlands Nutrition Centre and provide daily fruit, drinks, and a healthy snack. If your child has allergies or special dietary needs, we work with you to find a suitable solution.
We believe children should feel safe and secure. That’s why each group has dedicated childcare staff and we operate an open-door policy, allowing children to explore other rooms or groups if they wish. This helps them make new friends and discover new materials and play areas.
Parents are always welcome. We regularly organise parent activities such as pancake days, Christmas celebrations, and information evenings. There is also an active parent committee that contributes to policy and activities. Together with parents, we aim to bring out the best in every child.Read more
