Welcome to BSO De Speelboerderij, located at Ellenbroekweg 12 in Sint Isidorushoeve, municipality of Haaksbergen. Our after-school care is part of the small-scale childcare facility De Speelboerderij, where quality and personal attention for your child are our top priorities. We provide care for 24 school-age children from 4 to 12 years old in a unique rural setting, surrounded by nature. Our BSO is housed in a spacious, atmospheric room with direct access to a large outdoor area. Here children can cycle, ride go-karts and play with pedal tractors. Additionally, there is a separate grass field where they can run and romp to their heart's content. We work exclusively with qualified childcare professionals who have an affinity for small-scale care in a farm environment. Animals and nature are central to our program. The children help care for the farm animals and learn in a playful way about life in the countryside. We have a vegetable garden where they can grow and harvest their own fruits and vegetables. Indoors we have a creative craft corner and plenty of toys for different age groups. At lunchtime we eat sandwiches together and in the evening there is the option to join us for a hot meal. We are open 51 weeks a year, except for the week between Christmas and New Year. Our opening hours are aligned with school hours in the region. BSO De Speelboerderij is a place where children feel safe and at home, where they can relax after a school day and where they can learn new skills in a familiar environment.
