De Singelier

BSO De Singelier is located on the ground floor of Openbare Basisschool De Singelier at Schipper 11 in Diever. We provide after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. Children enter through a dedicated entrance and step straight into a bright, spacious group room of almost 53 m², set up as a cosy living area with seating and play corners, a mezzanine with computers and plenty of space to build, craft or read quietly. In addition to the indoor area we have our own outdoor yard adjoining the school building. The garden offers ample room to run, play and explore in the fresh air. Thanks to the direct link with the primary school we can collect the children safely and quickly after classes. Our pedagogical policy is laid down in the current pedagogical work plan that is updated every year. Each group has a fixed mentor who is the first point of contact for child and parent. We work in a horizontal group structure with peers, so children feel safe and recognised. Cooperation with OBS De Singelier is intensive; we use the school facilities and align our activities with the school calendar. This allows us to organise extra outings and projects on study days and school-free days.
