BSO de Schatrovers

BSO de Schatrovers has been located since the summer holidays of 2019 in the completely renovated ’t Anker building of youth association Jong Nederland, right next to primary school de Triolier in Reuver. We provide professional after-school care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 13. Our homely space consists of our own room, a large communal hall that is also used by Jong Nederland in the evenings, and a professionally equipped kitchen where children can cook and bake themselves. Outside we have a spacious, safe playground with new paving, a sandbox and a large canopy so children can also play outside when it rains. The adjoining gym offers extra space for sports and games. Our pedagogical staff work according to the current pedagogical policy plan of Stichting Kindercentrum ’t Rovertje and guarantee a warm, stable group in which every child has a fixed mentor. Children are given the freedom to choose for themselves: one day they choose creative activities such as drawing and crafts, the next day they play badminton or build a tent for a role-play. Together with the children we make agreements on a large sheet about what we find important at the BSO: cleaning up ourselves, cooking, being creative and above all having fun.
