BSO De Schakel

BSO De Schakel is located in the same building as Christelijke Basisschool De Schakel at De Ketting 8 in Dronten. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in close cooperation with the school. After school hours, on study days and during school holidays we welcome children into a familiar environment where fun, relaxation and development go hand in hand. Our pedagogical staff work from the vision of CKO Kleurrijk: every child is valuable and deserves to feel loved. We offer a safe place where children can play, discover and grow. Activities are varied and tailored to the age and interests of the children—think sports and games in the gym or on the playground, creative craft and drawing corners, cooking and baking in our kitchen, music and dance, themed outings and nature experiences. We regularly use the school garden and playground and organise fun trips in the area. For the youngest group (4-7 years) the focus is on learning through play and processing the school day. Older children (8-12 years) have space to do homework, relax with friends or take part in larger projects. On study days and during holidays we run an extensive holiday programme that guarantees a full day of fun. Lunch, fruit and drinks are included, allowing parents to work without worry. We value good contact with parents and keep you informed through our newsletter and personal conversations. Together we ensure that every child arrives at the BSO with a smile.
