BSO De Ruimte

BSO De Ruimte is part of Stichting De Ruimte Soest, an Integral Child Centre (IKC) registered in the National Childcare Register under number 133868205 since 22 January 2009. Our after-school care is located on the ground floor of the school at Insingerstraat 39 in Soest, allowing children to move seamlessly from school to after-school care without additional transport. We provide care for up to 70 children aged 4 to 12 years. The BSO is open from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on school days. Because school activities and after-school care are fully integrated, the same staff members provide both education and BSO guidance. This creates calm, familiarity and a natural flow to the day for the children. Our organisation is horizontally structured. Together with the parent circle, all team members share responsibility for quality within the school, BSO and day care. A pedagogical policy worker/coach safeguards the quality of care with regard to policy, safety, health and pedagogy. Time is allocated for consultation, peer review and study days to ensure the professional development of the team. Parents of students up to 13 years of age can apply for childcare allowance via www.toeslagen.nl. This application must be submitted within three months after the month of enrolment to avoid losing the right to allowance.
