BSO Carré

Welcome to BSO Carré, located in the characteristic former monastery at Leyenbroekerweg 113D in Sittard. Our child center provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. We pick up children from KC Carré and JPS De Vlieger in Sittard. We offer much more than just childcare. Our pedagogical staff are creative experts who challenge and inspire children with activities such as theater, dance, technology, music and crafts. In our small theater children can perform plays, while the movement room and technology space provide plenty of room for sports and technical challenges. In our studio and cooking kitchen, children develop their creative and culinary talents. Outside it's one big adventure! We use the spacious playground of Leyenbroek Primary School and the nearby City Park, Speelbos Sjabolleke and Ophovenerhof petting zoo. In our own vegetable garden, children develop green fingers and learn about sustainability and nature. We work with horizontal group structures: three groups for children aged 4 to 7 and three groups for children aged 7 to 13. Together with Daycare and Primary School Carré, we work with the Preschool and Early Education program and the 'Leader in Me' method. We encourage independence, involvement and personal development. Learning and growing through play is central. We value health. We serve fresh fruit, nutritious snacks, fruit water and tea daily. This keeps the children fit and full of energy to play and discover!
