De Parel

Welcome to De Parel, our after-school care facility in Alphen aan den Rijn. We are located right inside primary school De Tamboerijn at Marsdiep 1, allowing children to stay in their familiar surroundings after school to play and explore. Our modern, child-friendly space accommodates up to 40 children and is equipped with challenging play corners, a quiet homework area and a communal dining spot. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every afternoon to guide children aged 4 to 12. We offer a varied programme of sports and games, arts and crafts, music and drama. There is also plenty of room for free choice: relaxing with a book, getting creative or playing outside. The transition from school to after-school care is therefore smooth and familiar. De Parel only works with children who attend De Tamboerijn. Our staff collect the children directly from their classroom after school and take them to our rooms within the school. During school holidays and study days we are open all day from 07.30 to 18.30, so parents can rely on us then too. There is always a familiar face and a smile ready to welcome your child.
