BSO de Pandabeer/BSO de Maki's

Welcome to BSO de Pandabeer and BSO de Maki’s, two lively after-school care groups located under one roof at Zaanstraat 47A in Winschoten. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang KiWi, a trusted organisation that has provided high-quality childcare in the province of Groningen since 1988. Our site offers a total of 50 places, divided into two age groups: the Pandabeer for children aged 4–12 and the Maki’s specially designed for children aged 7–12. At the Pandabeer, children enjoy a spacious room with a large outdoor playground, an indoor sandpit, various play corners and a real BSO garden with a panna court. The atmosphere is homely and safe, so every child quickly feels at home. The Maki’s focuses on older children and offers a challenging programme centred on media literacy and creative technology. Activities include programming robots, digital design and artistic projects that match the interests of this age group. Our pedagogical staff work from the belief ‘I am me and that is okay’. We take time for every child, listen actively and stimulate development in a way that connects with each child’s interests and abilities. We provide both before-school care (Monday to Friday 06:30–08:30) and after-school care (Monday to Friday 14:00–18:30). During school holidays we are open from 08:00 to 18:00, so parents can rely on us throughout the year. In short, at BSO de Pandabeer and BSO de Maki’s children find a familiar place to play, discover and grow together, while parents can focus on work or study with peace of mind.
