BSO De Ooievaar/After School Care Ockenburgh

BSO De Ooievaar/After School Care Ockenburgh is located at Wijndaelerweg 7 in the beautiful natural area of Ockenburgh in The Hague. We are a small-scale after-school care facility where personal contact and involvement are central. Our location accommodates up to 30 children aged 4 to 13 years. We believe that children grow up with enthusiasm and respect for nature. With our perfect location between sports fields, forests, and Kijkduin beach, we can make daily use of this beautiful environment. We go on adventures in the Ockenburgh forest, visit playgrounds, play football, observe birds, and climb trees. We also make trips to the dunes and beach of Kijkduin. We partner with The International School of The Hague, located just 400 meters away. We pick up children daily with our cargo bike and provide a safe and familiar transition from school to after-school care. Our group leaders speak both Dutch and English, providing a language-rich environment where children can develop their Dutch and English skills. Our program starts immediately after school and runs until 6:30 PM. During holidays and study days, we are open from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM with a special holiday program. We believe it's important that children get sufficient exercise and connect with nature. That's why we go outside every day and pay attention to healthy food and an active lifestyle. BSO De Ooievaar is part of Kinderopvang De Ooievaar B.V. and is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 284644225 since July 3, 2018.
