De Ontdektuin

De Ontdektuin is our brand-new after-school care facility in Deventer, located in the cosy and child-friendly canteen of VV IJsselstreek’s clubhouse at Borgelerdijk 4. From this lively base we head out every afternoon with our young ‘adventurers’. On our sturdy GoCab cargo-bike we reach Wechelerveld and Rijsterborgherpark in no time. These natural areas serve as our open-air studio for nature experiences and adventurous challenges. The sports fields surrounding the clubhouse are also right at our doorstep, offering the perfect playground for our energetic afternoon programmes. At De Ontdektuin we believe in the power of being outdoors, moving, playing together and discovering. All our activities therefore centre on nature and sport—ideal for children who love to unwind after school by exploring the outdoors or taking part in sporty games. Adventure guaranteed, every single day! Our enthusiastic pedagogical professionals are passionate about nature and sport. They guide the children with attention, fun and expertise, creating a safe, familiar environment in which every child can be themselves and develop freely. Curious?
