BSO de Madelief

BSO de Madelief Huisseling is a small-scale after-school care centre located at Meerstraat 3 in Huisseling. We provide care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. Our mission is to offer every child a familiar place to play, learn and discover. We work in one mixed-age group, focusing on both the individual needs of each child and the group process. Each afternoon starts at 14:15 when we collect the children from school. We cycle back together; children up to grade 2 can ride in the cargo bike. On arrival, water or sugar-free lemonade with a bread stick is waiting. Free play follows and we often begin larger creative projects. At 15:30 fresh fruit is served, and at 16:30 the children receive a healthy snack of their choice. They may stay and play until 17:30, with the option to extend until 18:00. Outdoor play is important to us in every season. Our site is set in a green area with a large, enclosed outdoor space. We encourage movement and let children explore nature and animals while they play. Parents are always welcome to share ideas; we enjoy working together to make every afternoon enjoyable for each child.
