de Loeiende Koe

Welcome to de Loeiende Koe, our small-scale agricultural after-school care located at Jisperweg 134 in Westbeemster. As part of the United Agricultural Childcare (VAK), we have been providing care for children aged 4 to 12 since 2014 in a unique, rural environment. Our location is situated on a dairy farm, allowing children to experience where their food comes from and enjoy the space and tranquility that a farm offers. We believe that children develop best in a natural environment where they are allowed to get dirty, play outside, and learn from the animals and nature around them. Our pedagogical staff guide children in small groups, giving each child the space to develop at their own pace. Children have ample opportunity to play outside on our spacious grounds, where they can romp, discover, and play with natural materials. Our after-school care is designed to provide children with a pleasant place after school where they can relax, play, and learn new things. We work with a close-knit team of professional staff who ensure a safe and familiar environment. Due to our small scale, we know each child personally and can respond well to individual needs. At de Loeiende Koe, we find it important that children not only learn to play but also learn about dealing with animals, nature, and each other. We offer a warm, homely atmosphere where children feel at home and enjoy coming to. Our goal is to give children an unforgettable time in which they learn and grow through play.
