Buitenschoolse Opvang de Lichtlijn

Buitenschoolse Opvang de Lichtlijn is part of Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Lichtlijn in Den Helder. We provide before-school, after-school and holiday care for children aged 4 to 12 years. Currently, our BSO is temporarily located at Reggestraat 38 while a completely renovated building is being constructed at Lekstraat 1. From August 1st, 2025, we will return to our renewed location. We operate from a Christian identity and believe that every child is unique and deserves the space to develop at their own pace. Our passionate pedagogical staff are ready to provide children with a warm and safe place where they can play, discover and grow. We offer a varied program of activities that connect with children's experiences, working thematically and providing space for both relaxation and development. As part of LEV-WN, we work closely with education within IKC De Lichtlijn. This collaboration ensures a continuous development line for children from 0 to 13 years. For the after-school care, this means we align well with school hours and holidays, and we use the same themes as the education. This creates a familiar and recognizable environment for the children. Our BSO has a capacity of 22 childcare places and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since May 8, 2024, under number 271686625. We are known for our small-scale approach, where personal attention and short lines with parents are central. Parents can come to us for before-school care, after-school care and care during school holidays.
