BSO de Leeuw

BSO de Leeuw is located in primary school De Leeuw at Het Hof 2 in Lichtenvoorde and is part of Stichting de Achthoek. We provide after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO is open 52 weeks a year, except on public holidays. During school weeks we welcome children from 14:15 to 18:00; during holidays and study days we are available from 07:00 to 18:00. We work with age-based core groups or small clusters, depending on the activity and the children’s needs. This allows our pedagogical staff to guide and stimulate each child’s development optimally. Every child is seen and known, so we can tailor our care to what the child needs. At BSO de Leeuw, free play in a home-like, safe environment is central. Children can play freely and also take part in various activities that match their age and interests. These activities have an educational function: children learn and practise in a playful, non-school way—think crafts, outdoor play, games or cooking together. Stichting de Achthoek believes children should feel at home with us. Respect and involvement are our key values. We work closely with parents and with De Leeuw primary school to ensure seamless continuity between school and after-school care. Curious?
