BSO de Lavendeltuin

Welcome to BSO de Lavendeltuin, part of Kindernet and located at Kindcentrum De Plattenburg, Lavendelveld 21 in the child-friendly De Huet district of Doetinchem. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a familiar, homely setting. Our BSO uses the school’s play hall and also has its own cosy space inside the school building. In the morning this room is still a toddler group, but in the afternoon it becomes the place where primary-school children meet after school. Children decide for themselves whether to join an activity or simply enjoy free play. We work with DoenKids: an online database packed with fun and challenging activities. We also love being outdoors: our yard invites romping about and we regularly walk to the adjacent park to feed the ducks or take a trip to the nearby petting farm. After-school care is mainly free time after school, so besides organised activities there is always room to hang out with friends, read a book or just do nothing. Through intensive cooperation with De Plattenburg primary school we form an Integral Child Centre (IKC). This means children aged 0 to 12 experience one continuous learning and development line and parents find everything under one roof.
