De Komeet

Welcome to De Komeet, a warm home-from-home for children located at Hemelboog Binnen 26 in Heerhugowaard. We provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12. In our cosy and welcoming setting we work in an accessible way and value close cooperation with parents and carers. Our after-school care consists of two fixed base groups on site: Jupiter and Pluto, each with a maximum of 20 children. In partnership with primary school De Reflector we also run two additional groups there—Neptunus and Saturnus—catering for children from 7 years up to the end of primary school, again with room for 20 children per group. Keeping groups small ensures children see familiar faces every day. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On study days we open at 8:30 a.m. and during school holidays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Parents can choose from several packages: after-school care during both term time and holidays, term time only, or holiday weeks only. Exact fees are listed in our rates brochure. Our active parent committee welcomes your involvement.
