BSO De Kolibrie

BSO De Kolibrie is located in the public primary school ’t Palet at Middenmolenlaan 68a in Gouda. We provide after-school care for up to 50 children aged 4 to 13. Because we are based inside the school building, children can walk straight to us when classes finish. We use the spacious school playground and an adjacent grass field, so there is plenty of room for outdoor play every day. For us, after-school time equals free time. We believe children need to relax after a busy school day and should be free to choose what they want to do. Our pedagogical staff tailor the programme to the children’s interests and actively involve them in planning activities. The result can be themed mornings, craft projects, sports and games, or simply quiet corners for reading or building. Sustainability is one of our priorities. Children help sort waste, we work with reusable materials as much as possible, and we focus on nature and the environment in our activities. Thanks to our close cooperation with primary school ’t Palet, communication lines are short and, if desired, we can coordinate with teachers about a child’s development. Parents can follow the day through our Parent app. We share photos and short messages so you can see how your child spends the afternoon. Curious?
