BSO De Kleine Planeet, location Voorstad is situated at Smyrnastraat 1B in Deventer and is part of the modern Jenaplan school De Kleine Planeet. We provide after-school care for up to 35 children aged 4 to 13. Our before-school care runs from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m.; breakfast is served until 8:00 a.m. After-school care is available Monday to Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. During school holidays we are open from 7:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except for the second, third and fourth weeks of the summer break and the period between Christmas and New Year. Our pedagogical approach mirrors the Jenaplan pillars: conversation, work, play and celebration. Children are given space to develop individual talents while also learning to collaborate. We regularly go out: to the nature area opposite the school, a museum, De Kolk or our own school garden. In this way children learn by doing and apply their knowledge in practice. Our pedagogical staff work closely with the teachers of De Kleine Planeet. This ensures we know every child well and that the care seamlessly connects to the school day.
