De Kleine Kunst - BSO De Kardoen

Welcome to De Kleine Kunst – BSO De Kardoen, our welcoming after-school care located inside De Kardoen primary school at Korenbloemstraat 2 in Ommen. We provide before- and after-school care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 12. Because we are housed within the school itself, children simply walk into our area as soon as the last bell rings. Our spaces are cosy and homely: we have a cheerful central room with kitchen facilities and access to the school’s playroom. Outside, children enjoy the spacious schoolyard with sandpit, swings and slide. Parking is never an issue thanks to ample spaces right next to the building. Every afternoon we offer a varied programme. Music, nature, art and movement alternate: we dance, paint, build, set up scavenger hunts and explore together. In this way every child can discover and grow their own talents. We are also open during school holidays, when we organise an active and fun holiday programme, sometimes on site, sometimes with exciting excursions. Parents of De Kardoen and Het Palet primary schools are welcome to register. We work closely with the schools, ensuring a smooth transition from the school day to after-school care. In short, a familiar place where children can play, discover and relax after school under the guidance of our dedicated pedagogical staff.
