De Kleine Jungle

De Kleine Jungle is an out-of-school care facility located at Ommoordseweg 87 in Rotterdam. Our setting is a beautiful recreational area, easily accessible yet deliberately outside the school environment. We pick the children up from school, provide a snack and drink, and then head out on an adventure. Each week revolves around a different theme, allowing us to offer an endless variety of creative, sporty, challenging and educational activities and excursions. There is never a dull moment! We welcome up to 50 children aged 4 to 13. Our qualified and motivated pedagogical staff have been working together for years as a stable team, ensuring familiar faces and a safe, homely atmosphere. Our philosophy is simple: free time should be spent outside the classroom. By changing the environment we give children a fresh challenge every day and a clear separation between school and leisure. They are free to decide whether to join the daily sports and games or arts-and-crafts activities, or to invent their own adventure. A unique feature of De Kleine Jungle is that, if desired, we can bring the children home at the end of the day, making it a little easier to combine work and family life. During school holidays we run a special programme packed with fun and educational trips, ensuring the children have an unforgettable time. In short, fun, discovery and freedom are at the heart of De Kleine Jungle.
