Welcome to De Kindereijk BSO, located at Eerste Zeine 98 in the centre of Waalwijk. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a safe, homely setting where fun and discovery are key. With 66 places split across two horizontal age groups – 4-7 years and 7-12 years – children can play and learn at their own level. Our large adventure garden is the beating heart of the site. Here children climb, build, romp and invent new adventures every day. Indoors we have spacious, bright rooms set up for creative activities, quiet corners and group games. A permanent team of qualified pedagogical staff welcomes the children each afternoon and offers a varied programme. Structure and freedom alternate. Children decide for themselves whether to join an activity or do their own thing. Once a week there is a sports and movement session, and we regularly head outdoors for scavenger hunts and discovery trips. Healthy food matters: fruit and drinks are provided and on fixed days a warm meal is served. We collect children from nearby primary schools and ensure a safe hand-over to parents at the end of the afternoon.
