BSO de Kievitsbloem is part of Christian childcare organization De Kindertuin and is located inside Constantijnschool at Braakmansdijk 7 in Rijssen. We provide after-school care for up to 16 children aged 4 to 13. We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 or 14:30 until 18:00. The location has its own base group and works closely with the school to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our pedagogical approach focuses on offering children a safe and secure place to relax after a day at school. We encourage children to develop motor, cognitive, language and creative skills through play. We also pay attention to social interaction and teaching generally accepted values and norms. We work with a pedagogical policy plan that includes concrete guidance for child development and cooperation with parents. Safety and health are our top priorities. We maintain an up-to-date safety and health policy and ensure a safe and well-cared-for environment. Children spend a lot of time playing outdoors and healthy nutrition is provided; fruit is offered daily. We monitor indoor CO2 levels and ensure adequate ventilation. The outdoor play area is safe and inviting, with a shade sail above the sandbox and sunscreen provided for the children. BSO de Kievitsbloem is officially registered with GGD Twente and operates according to the guidelines of the Childcare Act.
