BSO De Kieft

Welcome to Partou BSO De Kieft! Our after-school care is located in the De Kieft community school at Pennekamplaan 58A in Oosterblokker. We share the building with primary school Pancratius and our own day-care centre, so children from baby to grade 8 keep the same familiar faces and surroundings throughout their childhood. As soon as the school bell rings our qualified staff are waiting on the playground. The children put on bright safety vests and we walk together to the BSO room. For the youngest pupils we even pick them up from their classroom. We work closely with R.C. Primary School Pancratius (same building), De Westwijzer in Westwoud and the Jozefschool in Blokker, so parents can always choose the school and care that best suits their child. Our afternoon starts with some fresh air on the large playground: football, tag or skipping rope. Then we head out together to the Drachterveld nature reserve just around the corner. We count butterflies, look for hedgehog tracks and build huts from branches. No two days are the same thanks to our DoenKids activity programme: cooking from our recipe book, crafting with natural materials or a sports and games circuit. We believe it is important that children can be themselves. That is why they choose whether to join an activity or quietly read a book in our reading corner. Our experienced pedagogical staff have an eye and a heart for every child and follow all milestones via our own Partou app. We also provide a fresh, healthy meal every day and of course a tasty piece of fruit in between. Because we are located in the community school, children can use pre-school care from 7:30 a.m. onwards, so they start the school day relaxed. After school they stay with us until 6:30 p.m. Familiar faces for a childhood, a familiar environment and lots of friends: that is BSO De Kieft.
