BSO De Kersentuin

Welcome to BSO De Kersentuin, part of Stichting Kinderopvang Arnhem en Regio (SKAR), located at Morel 28 in Elst. Our after-school care is a welcoming place for children aged 4 to 13. We work with vertical groups, where children of different ages are together in one group. This approach enhances group dynamics: children learn from and with each other, and take care of one another. The group composition is regularly reviewed to ensure every child feels safe and comfortable. Our location has space for up to 44 children and is open 52 weeks a year. During school weeks, we provide care after school hours, and during school holidays, we offer an extensive holiday programme. Our activities are tailored to the age and development of each child. There is plenty of room to play, relax, and discover new things. BSO De Kersentuin is part of Kindcentrum De Kersentuin, which also houses primary school ’t Startblok. This collaboration offers many benefits: children learn and play in a familiar environment, and the transition from school to after-school care is smooth. We make use of the facilities in the building, such as the gym and outdoor area. We also work closely with other organisations in the centre, such as KluppluZ, to better align care with the needs of children and parents. Our pedagogical staff are dedicated, professional, and ready to provide your child with a fun and safe experience.
