Kindcentrum De Kei

Kindcentrum De Kei is located at Abraham Blankaartsingel 67 in the Schothorst district of Amersfoort. We are an integrated child center where primary education and childcare come together under one roof. Our after-school care (BSO) provides care for children aged 4 to 12, aligned with school hours. Our after-school care is part of a vibrant living community where children feel welcome, known and understood. We work closely with the primary school located on the same premises, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our pedagogical staff tailor activities to the children's world of experience and provide peace and space to relax after school. Art and culture form an important part of our approach. Children can participate in creative activities such as crafts, drawing, dance, drama and music. These lessons are often provided by specialist teachers who bring expertise. We believe that being creative stimulates thinking and contributes to developing a creative mindset. Our offer is varied and child-centered. We ensure that children can play and discover for at least 2.5 consecutive hours. The activities connect with the project-based approach also used at school, where we work on skills such as collaboration, presentation and critical thinking. We provide a safe environment where children can develop at their own pace. As part of Ska childcare and Stichting Meerkring, we contribute to a neighborhood network focused on childcare, meeting and parenting support. We are located in the heart of the neighborhood and work together with parents, teachers and other partners to create a stimulating environment for all children.
