De KAS

The after-school care (BSO) of De KAS is located within the public primary school De KAS at Tweede E.J. Potgieterstraat 2 in the Korte Akkeren district of Gouda. The care is provided by Kindercentrum de Schaapskooi, an organization with over 50 years of experience in childcare in Gouda. Inside the school, a cozy group space has been set up where children feel safe and at ease. The space offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation, experience, and discovery. Additionally, there is a large enclosed outdoor play area with play equipment, a sandbox, and table tennis. The BSO is intended for children aged 4 to approximately 12 years and takes place at the familiar school location. Children are at the heart of our care. We provide them with a place where they can be themselves, meet other children, and spend their free time in a fun and meaningful way. Together with the children, we look for activities that match their interests and needs, both indoors and outdoors. The care can be a supplement to or temporary replacement of the home situation, taking into account the wishes and ideas of parents.
