BSO de Kapitein

BSO de Kapitein is part of Kindcentrum Het Baken, located at Bovenweg 68 in Sint Pancras. We provide after-school care for children in grades 1 through 8, open every day until 6:30 PM. We are also available during school holidays and study days. Our after-school care uses fixed base groups that align with each child’s school year. This means friends often stay together in the same core group, strengthening their sense of safety and trust. The rooms are set up so children can play independently or are invited to take part in table activities. We use the group rooms, play hall, and the adjacent school playground. We regularly organize outings, for example to the playground. These are always within walking distance and are accompanied by enough supervisors. Within Kindcentrum Het Baken, the primary school, toddler care, pre-school care, and after-school care work together as one professional team. We share the same core values and each work from our own expertise. At BSO de Kapitein, familiar faces are there for the children. Our pedagogical staff are present on multiple days, know every child well, and observe consistently. Only in case of leave or illness is a regular staff member replaced by a qualified employee from Tabijn’s flex pool. This ensures continuity and trust for your child.
