BSO De Jongelieden

Welcome to BSO De Jongelieden, our small-scale after-school care located in the welcoming clubhouse of Tennis Club VEP at Talma-lanen 47B in Woerden. We are part of Stichting Kind & Co Ludens and provide care for up to 20 children aged 7 to 12. Set in the green Staatsliedenkwartier neighbourhood, children can step straight from school into fresh air and activity. Our space is the club’s canteen, converted into a cosy group room with a reading corner, board games and a games console for rainy days. Shelves are stocked with craft, sport and play materials so children can choose what they feel like doing. Every day we offer optional activities in arts & crafts, sports and cooking; children decide for themselves whether to join in or play on their own. Outside is one big adventure. The room opens onto a play area with a mini tennis court and playground. Several ball courts and fields lie just next door and are used daily. Children who have earned an independence contract may play unsupervised on the first field, learning to take responsibility. We pick up from primary schools De Schakel and De R. de Jagerschool. After a long school day children can run, climb, bake cookies or simply relax on the sofa. We are open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 13:30 to 18:30. When children turn 9 they may, space permitting, move on to BSO De Stein, ensuring they continue to develop at their own level.
