Eigen&Wijzer BSO DKC de IJsbreker

Eigen&Wijzer BSO DKC de IJsbreker is located within Dalton Kindcentrum De IJsbreker at Chrysantenstraat 22 in Amsterdam-Noord. Since March 1, 2021, we have been providing after-school care with great enthusiasm within this child center. Our BSO accommodates up to 75 children aged 4 to 12 years. We work closely with the primary school within the Dalton Child Center. This close collaboration ensures a smooth transition from school to after-school care and enables us to pick up children directly from school. Our pedagogical staff are ready to provide children with a safe and challenging environment after school hours. At Eigen&Wijzer, the child is central. We believe that every child is unique and has a natural drive to develop. Our approach is development-oriented and child-centered. We give children space to discover, play and have fun. Nature experience is an important part of our vision. We encourage children to explore nature and enjoy outdoor play. Our pedagogical professionals create a safe and challenging developmental environment where children are guided and stimulated to be themselves and to grow. We work from the conviction that children develop optimally when they are given the space to recognize and express their own needs. With us, every child can be themselves and grow wiser.
