KC De Hoven

We are Kindcentrum De Hoven, located at Allegroweg 2 in Rosmalen. Our child centre offers both childcare and education under one roof, welcoming children aged 4 to 13 for after-school care (BSO) and holiday care. We work closely with the ATO primary school on the same premises, allowing children to transition directly from school to a familiar environment. Our BSO is designed to provide children with a safe and stimulating place to relax, play and develop. After school, we pick up the children from their classrooms and guide them to the BSO areas. Younger children from the lower grades are collected on the learning square, while older children check in with the pedagogical staff themselves. We believe it’s important that children feel free to choose what they want to do, while also offering structured activities such as sports, games and creative workshops. All our pedagogical staff hold at least a vocational qualification (MBO SPW3 in childcare or equivalent). They not only supervise the children, but also support their social and emotional development. We work with a consistent team so that children see familiar faces and can build trusting relationships. We regularly organise outings and excursions, such as school trips, sports days and cultural activities. During school holidays, we offer holiday care with a special programme full of fun and educational activities. These include crafts, sports and games, nature experiences and creative projects. We ensure there is always plenty of variety so that no two days are the same. Our location features spacious, modern facilities, including a large garden with play equipment and plenty of room to move. We value outdoor play and use natural materials and seasonal themes in our activities. Healthy food is provided: fruit, bread and drinks are included during care hours. Communication with parents takes place through our own app, Social Schools. We share photos, messages and important information, and parents can contact our staff directly. We believe in strong parental involvement and organise annual parent meetings and informal get-togethers. In short, Kindcentrum De Hoven is a place where children feel at home, where they can play, learn and grow in a safe and familiar environment.
