BSO de Hoeve

BSO de Hoeve is part of De Paddestoel and is located at Naardermeerstraat 151 in Berkel en Rodenrijs. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Because our building is not a traditional school, we have extra space and unique facilities. Children can swim in our own instruction pool, cook in the teaching kitchen, garden in the vegetable patch and meet animals on our small farm. We offer a pick-up and drop-off service to and from sports clubs in Berkel en Rodenrijs. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday we take your child to their club; on Wednesday we both drop off and pick up. In addition, we run creative sessions in our art studio, dance and music workshops, and sports and games on our own sports field. Our pedagogical staff are qualified, professional and ready every day with care and attention. We work with fixed teams so that children see familiar faces and quickly feel at home. We believe it is important for every child to develop optimally in motor, social-emotional and cognitive areas. Therefore, we offer more than just care: we give children space to discover, learn and have fun. For meals we collect fresh bread daily from a local baker. We cater for special dietary needs such as allergies or halal food. Our outdoor areas are specially designed with sandpits, climbing frames with slides and mushroom-shaped climbing features. We also make regular trips to our farm or vegetable garden. BSO de Hoeve is open all year round except on official public holidays. We remain open during the summer holidays so parents can plan their vacations flexibly. Registration is via our website; places are allocated in order of application and children transferring from our daycare or siblings of current BSO children receive priority.
