Grote Beer

BSO Grote Beer is located on the ground floor of primary school De Grote Beer at Astronautenweg 30 in Duivendrecht. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 and work closely with the public primary school De Grote Beer, which is part of the Florente foundation. Our two groups are specifically designed for school-age children and are situated directly on the school playground, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. We are open every weekday until 6:30 PM, including during school holidays and study days (except official public holidays). Children can come to us for rest, play and development after an intensive school day. We use both the indoor spaces of the school and the outdoor area, so there are always plenty of opportunities to move, relax or engage in creative activities. Our pedagogical staff know the children well and tailor activities to the needs of the group. We work from trust and self-direction: children are given space to make choices and learn to take responsibility in the process.
