BSO De Grassprietjes

BSO De Grassprietjes is a small-scale after-school care facility located in the same building as primary school Grasspriet at Sportveldenlaan 20 in Deventer. Since 2024, we have been part of Atalenta, working together on our shared mission: 'Starting small to become great!' Our BSO provides care for a maximum of 22 children aged 4 to 13 years. We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, 52 weeks per year. Children from primary school Grasspriet and primary school Smelen can join us for after-school care, during study days and school holidays. We believe in a personal approach where every child can develop at their own pace. Our spaces are warmly and homely furnished with various play areas: an art corner for creative activities, a cozy home corner, table football, a stage with dress-up corner and more. We work with an ideas board where children can share their wishes and ideas - whether they want to make a recipe from home or conduct an exciting experiment. At BSO De Grassprietjes, healthy childcare is central. We move a lot and are often found outdoors. Our pedagogical professionals pick up the children after school and provide healthy snacks and drinks. We bake and cook healthy food together with the children and offer sports activities. The transition from school to BSO is very natural for children as everything is located under one roof.
