Boon

Welcome to Boon, our after-school care centre located at Graafseweg 52 in ’s-Hertogenbosch. We are part of Kanteel Kinderopvang and provide a safe, homely place where school-age children from 4 to 12 years old can relax, play, and discover new things after school. At Boon, the child is at the centre of everything we do. We believe that every child is unique and has their own pace and interests. That’s why we offer a wide range of activities that children can choose from themselves. One day it might be playing games, the next a creative workshop or a sporty challenge. We believe it’s important that children have a say in what happens each day. This way, they learn to make choices and take increasing responsibility. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide, inspire, and listen to the children. We work from a place of trust and connection, with room for both individual initiative and collaboration. The atmosphere is homely and warm, so children quickly feel at home. Boon is located on the grounds of Basisschool Boon, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. We work closely with the school and tailor our activities to what the children have experienced that day. This way, we provide rest when needed, or challenge and distraction. In short: at Boon, no two days are the same. We offer a place where children can be themselves, grow, and learn by doing. Through play, they develop into confident, social, and curious individuals.
