BSO De Gouwaert

BSO De Gouwaert is part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Gouwaert in the heart of Goudswaard. Our small-scale after-school care accommodates 11 children and offers a homely atmosphere. Located in the same building as primary school De Gouwaert, the transition from school to after-school care is smooth and familiar. Our space features a cozy lounge area where children can relax after an intensive school day. Each group has its own regular table where we eat, play and talk together. Additionally, we make full use of the facilities offered by the school building, including the playground for outdoor play and the library for quiet moments with books. We provide a safe, familiar environment where children develop into independent, articulate individuals. Respect for themselves and others is central to our approach. Our pedagogical staff provide plenty of room for humor, fun and love. We believe children develop best when they feel comfortable and safe. The care is designed to give children space to discover their own possibilities and limitations. We offer structure and security, but also sufficient room for personal initiative. Due to our small scale, we know each child well and can respond to individual needs. Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We offer both before-school and after-school care, where children can have breakfast or receive a healthy snack. During school holidays and study days, we remain open so parents can rely on our care throughout the year.
