BSO de Giraffe

BSO de Giraffe is located at Beatrixlaan 21 in Vroomshoop, a quiet and child-friendly area on the edge of the town centre. This after-school care facility is part of Kinderopvang de Giraffe, an organisation that has been providing flexible and trusted childcare for children aged 0 to 12 for over 20 years. At this location, we focus specifically on out-of-school care for primary school-aged children. With a maximum capacity of 55 children, we offer a safe and homely environment where children can relax and develop after school. Our BSO has its own outdoor play area with a sandbox, trampoline and various play equipment. This outdoor space is a key part of our offering: children can play freely, move around and practise social skills. We also regularly make use of the nearby school and gym. Here, children can run around, play sports and engage in activities under the guidance of our experienced pedagogical staff. These outings are a regular part of our programme and contribute to a varied and active after-school experience. We offer both regular and flexible childcare, tailored to the needs of parents and children. This means parents can choose structured care on fixed days, or make use of our services on an ad hoc basis. When registering, we always schedule an introductory meeting with a tour, so parents and children can get a feel for the atmosphere and we can work together to determine the best care arrangement. Our pedagogical staff are ready to provide personal attention and guidance. We believe it is important that every child feels seen and valued. At BSO de Giraffe, children can be themselves, play with peers and learn and grow in a relaxed way.
