BSO De Eshorst

BSO De Eshorst is located inside Christelijk Dalton Kindcentrum De Eshorst at Esweg 106 in Beilen. We provide after-school care for up to 80 children aged 4–12 who attend De Eshorst or other primary schools in and around Beilen. We organise the children into four stable base groups according to age. The youngest after-school children play in a toddler room and the adjoining corridor, children from school years 2 and 3 use wide sections of the corridor plus a separate unit, and the oldest group has access to the plus classroom and the central hall. Indoors we offer a total of 333.45 m² of play space that is safe, accessible and age-appropriate. Outside, children can choose from three distinct playgrounds. The youngest group plays separately on their own schoolyard, the middle group enjoys the sheltered patio, and the oldest children are allowed to play unsupervised on a third yard. All outdoor areas are large enough for 80 children and provide both challenge and safety. Every child is assigned a personal mentor. This qualified practitioner monitors the child’s development, discusses progress with parents and is the first point of contact for any questions about well-being and growth. Our staff work according to the central pedagogical policy of Stichting CKC Drenthe Kinderopvang and all hold a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). BSO De Eshorst is recognised by GGD Drenthe and supervised by the municipality of Midden-Drenthe. We offer care on school days, study days and during school holidays, so parents can always rely on a familiar place where their children can play and relax.
