BSO De Elzen

BSO De Elzen is part of Montessori Kindcentrum De Elzen in Tilburg and provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. We are located on the same premises as Montessori Primary School De Elzen at Elzenstraat 6, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition from school to after-school care. Our pedagogical approach is based on Montessori principles: we see each child as a unique individual with their own talents and interests. We provide a safe and challenging environment where children can discover, create and learn on their own terms. Playing at our BSO is a great journey of discovery. We carefully observe the children and tailor our activities to what engages them and gives them energy. In our studio, children work with various materials such as screws, forks, feathers, clay and cardboard to create the most beautiful artworks. They come up with their own ideas and we teach them techniques to make their creations even better. For children who enjoy it, there is a spacious kitchen where we cook and bake healthy snacks together. Think of tasty treats for in between meals. Physical activity is important to us. Children can release their energy in our gym and in the beautiful monastery garden that we have at our disposal. The garden offers plenty of space to run, play and explore. With 80 places available, we can keep groups small and provide lots of personal attention. Our opening hours are flexible: before-school care from 7:30 AM until school starts, after-school care until 7:00 PM. During study days and holidays we are open from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM. We work closely with parents and primary school De Elzen to ensure our care is optimally tailored to each child's needs.
