BSO de Eendragt

BSO De Eendragt has been located in the Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Eendragt at Johan Berkstraat 31 in Zuid-Beijerland since 1 November 2020. We provide after-school care for up to forty children per day, divided into two age groups: 4 to 8 years and 8 to 12 years. Our team works fully integrated with the primary school and day-care centre within the IKC, allowing children to grow up in one familiar environment. Our pedagogical staff collect the children from school daily and guide them to the BSO rooms in the same building. These rooms are specially equipped with toys and materials that match different ages and developmental levels. We regularly change the layout and materials so that new challenges constantly arise. Children can choose from quiet corners for reading or crafts, as well as active zones for building, role-play or sports games. Outside, the children use the multifunctional school playground, where they can run, climb, cycle and play with natural materials. We pay a lot of attention to outdoor activities because we believe in the positive influence of fresh air and exercise on children's development. In bad weather, our indoor spaces offer sufficient opportunities for active play. Our BSO is open 51 weeks a year from Monday to Friday. We offer before-school care, after-school care, holiday care and care during study days. The collaboration with primary school De Eendragt makes the transition smooth and familiar for children.
