BSO De Driester

Welcome to BSO De Driester, part of Christian Child Center De Driester located at Kamperzeedijk 18 in Genemuiden. Our after-school care is integrated within a small-scale child center that shares its building with our Christian primary school. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 years on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school hours. As an after-school care facility within a Christian child center, we ensure a safe and familiar environment where children can unwind after an intensive school day. Our location on Kamperzeedijk is surrounded by the beautiful polder landscape of Zwartewaterland, which allows us to regularly utilize the natural environment for outdoor activities. Our BSO is designed as a place where children can play, discover, and relax under the guidance of professional childcare workers. We work closely with the primary school with which we share the building, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. The children are already familiar with the location and staff from their school time, contributing to a sense of familiarity and security. We provide care on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school hours. The exact times are coordinated with the primary school's schedule, ensuring continuous care immediately after school. During holidays and study days, we can expand to additional care days depending on parental needs and staff availability. As part of the IJsselrijk School Group, we operate according to the Christian identity that is central to our child center. This means we focus on values such as respect, tolerance, and care for one another, without compromising the playful and relaxed atmosphere that is so important for children after school.
