BSO De Den

BSO De Den is beautifully situated in a rural location at Burgemeester Beckersweg 45 in Mheer. As part of MIK & Spelenderwijs, we form an integrated child centre together with De Den toddler centre and Kindcentrum De Den primary school. We welcome children aged 4 to 13 after school hours, as well as during holidays, study days and free days. Our focus is on play, relaxation and discovery in an environment that breathes space and calm. The location features a large, challenging outdoor area where children can play to their heart's content. Whether they prefer exploring alone or sharing adventures with friends – anything goes. Indoors, we provide pleasant, well-organised spaces with play corners tailored to different age groups. We work with quarterly themes that we develop together with the children. Their interests and ideas take centre stage. What do they enjoy? What energises them? Our pedagogical staff inspire with new materials and activities, while the children help determine the direction. This way, free time becomes not just relaxation, but valuable development time. We actively encourage movement and outdoor play. Our children regularly explore the forest, fields and playground. We collect children from Kindcentrum De Den and Sint Gertrudis Primary School, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. A consistent team of dedicated pedagogical staff provides continuity and a familiar, safe atmosphere where both children and parents feel at home.
