De Deimten

Welcome to Partou BSO de Deimten! Our after-school care is located at De Deimten 3 in Groningen, right in the middle of educational institutions. We have three BSO groups with plenty of space to play both indoors and outdoors. Our location features a lovely discovery garden where children can play and explore daily. We work according to the pedagogical vision of Reggio Emilia. Children get the chance to express themselves 'in 100 languages'. Their uniqueness is central. We believe that every child is unique and has their own way of discovering and understanding the world. Our pedagogical professionals create an environment where children feel safe and seen. Our BSO has a challenging workshop full of tools where children can express their creativity and create great creations of their own. We also have an art studio where children can paint, draw and craft. Additionally, we have a library where children can read quietly or be read to. Our light studio offers special opportunities to experiment with light and shadow. We pick up children from Public Primary School Meander, Christian Primary School de Rietzee, Public Primary School de Feniks and Christian Primary School AquaMarijn. After school, we bring the children to our BSO where they can choose from various activities such as crafting, cooking or playing games. Through our app, we keep parents informed about how their child is enjoying themselves. At the end of the day, we all go outside together before parents come to pick up their children. We work with a close-knit team of pedagogical professionals who every day ensure a safe and challenging environment for the children.
