BSO de Buurman

BSO de Buurman is a 7+ after-school care location operated by Kinderopvang Mundo, located at Meidoornsingel 183 in Rotterdam. As a branch of BSO de Buurvrouw, we provide after-school care three afternoons per week for children from Fatima School. Our location is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. During school holidays and study days, care is provided at our main location BSO de Buurvrouw. Upon entering our welcoming facility, you'll immediately notice the warm atmosphere created by our two themed rooms and kitchen. The Grandma room, designed as a cozy living room, makes children feel right at home. We also feature a creative Atelier for arts and crafts activities, and a kitchen where children can prepare delicious meals. Our enthusiastic and experienced pedagogical staff make every day special. We offer a wide range of activities including fishing, football, treasure hunts, and game marathons. Children are encouraged to participate but can also choose their own activities - either alone or with friends. Crafting, building, board games, outdoor play and physical activities are all available options. We view time at the after-school care as free time where children can relax after a busy school day. Outdoor play takes place in our garden shared with a care facility, at nearby playgrounds, and at the natural playground of De Wilgenstam primary school. This playground offers natural play elements full of discoveries for all ages. Our Activity Team from Kinderopvang Mundo regularly visits to provide specialized sports activities, nature education and creative workshops. During holidays and study days, we organize extra festive activities including excursions and special workshops. BSO de Buurman is easily accessible via tram line 25, followed by a three-minute walk to our location.
