De Buitenplaats

Welcome to De Buitenplaats, our after-school care centre located at the green Hendrikweg 14B in Wageningen. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 in a beautiful, natural setting full of opportunities to roam and explore. Our location is divided into two separate groups. The Boskabouters, for the youngest children, are based in the building of the IVN nature education centre. It is a large, bright space with direct access to the garden. The Woudlopers, our group for older children from age seven, have their own space in the adjacent Salem building. There you will find games, books, toys and materials specially chosen for older children. We spend a lot of time playing outside. We use our own garden and also regularly head out into the neighbourhood. With the older children we visit the playground and the adjacent grass field. In spring and summer we sometimes take a trip to the pond next to the Arboretum. Of course, there is always plenty of room to choose your own activity, indoors or outdoors. During school holidays De Buitenplaats itself is closed, but we organise holiday care at one of our other locations in the area. You will be informed in good time about where and when. De Buitenplaats is part of Kinderopvang Wageningen and offers a maximum of 20 places. We have been registered in the National Childcare Register since 29 August 2014.
